Donated crates have helped get toys in order at a local children’s charity.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A children’s charity in Gloucestershire has benefited from “amazing” storage solutions donated by Rapid Racking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stroud District Kids’ Stuff, a charity shop which provides pre-loved children’s items, has received 18 stacking containers<\/a> from Rapid Racking’s SHEQ Manager, Andrew Mooney. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr Mooney was in need of bulk children’s supplies following the arrival of his three grandchildren. After visiting the charity shop in Stroud, he said he wanted to give back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andrew said: “After the arrival of my first three grandsons during Covid, I needed to get some furniture so I would be prepared for when they all came to visit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Someone told me about this local children\u2019s charity shop, so I thought I would pay it a visit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I found a high chair and travel cot for \u00a325.00 – in excellent condition! They really are doing great work to support the local community, and I found a way I could give something back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The first thing I noticed were the blue and orange racking, <\/a>and then the plastic boxes<\/a> – which we sell – being used to store all the children’s toys and clothes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I spoke to the owner and I asked her if she would be interested in some more boxes or racking as we were clearing out some old stock that we had used in our studio. She said ‘absolutely’.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new storage facilities have helped the charity organise and store donated children’s toys at its store in Stroud. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of Andrew’s donation, a spokesperson for Stroud District Kids’ Stuff, said: “They are amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A massive thank you to Andy from Rapid Racking<\/a> who kindly donated these amazing crates for us to store our toys in. We think you’ll agree that it has smartened our shop up.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded in 2013, Stroud District Kids’ Stuff is a social enterprise and part of the Grace Network. The organisations aim to support families within the Stroud District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
