The new retail store has been fitted with industrial-style heavy duty shelving to showcase its 1000+ bottles of wines and spirits for easier shopping and more pleasurable browsing.<br> Rapid Racking\u2019s Design Team has helped Soho-based Amathus Drinks to better showcase their wines, spirits and liqueurs in their new retail outlet with the installation of front-of-shop display shelving.<br> Rapid Racking\u2019s Design Team were called in by Harry Georgiou, who wanted warehouse style shelving to sit at the front of his Soho store. As a specialist drinks importer, distributor and brand management company,  Amathus Drinks stock over 1000 different wine, spirit and liqueur labels, all requiring a heavy duty display solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"759\" height=\"595\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.png 759w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2-300x235.png 300w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2-508x398.png 508w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 759px) 100vw, 759px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong> An aesthetic yet practical display solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rapid Racking Designer, Rob Roberts who managed the project, said, \u201cAmathus Drinks came to us interested in our heavy duty shelving range and was considering using our Rapid 1 and Rapid 2 shelving in their new wine shop. However, because an industrial feel was needed to complement the interior design of the store, we decided on the Advance range with a galvanised finish.<br> \u201cAdvance shelving suited the client\u2019s needs perfectly, and the weight loading was ideal for such heavy inventory. The height requirements of this product matched Amathus\u2019 requirements &#8211; Advance goes up to 8000mmm in height in 250mm increments and has a weight loading of up to 330kg per shelf.\u201d Before the Advanced system could take pride of place in the shop, the previous wooden display shelving was removed from the shop by the Amathus team. The new display shelving was then installed by the SEIRS-qualified Rapid Racking team. A total of 20 bays, comprising of varying widths, were needed to line the walls of the long and narrow space. Sized to suit the stock, the shelving system is now used to display premium brands and new products, making for an eye-catching focal point around the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"772\" height=\"581\" src=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-54\" srcset=\"\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3.png 772w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3-300x226.png 300w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3-768x578.png 768w, \/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3-508x382.png 508w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 772px) 100vw, 772px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dedicated Design Team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Harry Georgiou says: \u201cRob has been spot on all the time.
