This could influence the type of storage. Will you require spacing for unloading and packing?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Type of product<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What are the products you are storing? You should consider product Size, weight, height, percentage mix of products as well as frequencies of replenishment&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Product rotation<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How do you pick the pallet up off the lorry?&nbsp;You&nbsp;want to be storing the pallet the same way&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Flooring<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>How good is the warehouse floor?&nbsp;When installing storage in a warehouse the flooring will need to be level but you also have to consider other factors, did you know that you cannot install on tarmac, cracked concrete, expansion joints or heated flooring.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>Type of Racking<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a variety of racking available so you can mix and match depending on what&nbsp;products and&nbsp;merchandise&nbsp;you are storing.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cantilever suggested for&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shelving suggested for&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double Deep suggested for&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mezzanine suggested for&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<br>6. <strong>Pallets<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you intend on using pallets? If so, what type do you use \u2013 standard, Euros, mixture? What is the weight of the pallet (including products)?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. <strong>Decking&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Are the pallets you use odd sizes then maybe decking&nbsp;is a better alternative&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. <strong>Machinery<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What will you be using to move your products? If you are using a forklift, what type? As this will influence what type of racking and pallets that will be used.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. <strong>Employees<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Will you require&nbsp;walkways&nbsp;around the warehouse? You will also need to ensure there are clear access routes to all emergency exit points.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. <strong>Protection<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What will you do to protect not only your racking but your investment&nbsp;such as anti-Spill&nbsp;Mesh&nbsp;or&nbsp;Pallet End&nbsp;Protection?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bonus: <strong>Installation<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Does the installation team have access?&nbsp;Is the Area Clear?
